Another Fine Dining Establishment

In Bowling Green, KY, have lunch at Mayhew's, advertised on the back as Bowling Green's "Newest and Finest Restaurant, specializing in Broiled Steaks, Chops, and Fine Sea Foods."

(Sorry about the lack of recent posts. I was on vacation for two weeks!)

Howdy
Happy PFF to you :)
This is a really cool card.
It reminds me of some of the places I went to as a young girl with my Aunt and Uncle .
Hope you had a delightful vacation.
Welcome back and
a very Happy Easter.
Until next time
Happy Trails

The sign and cars really stand out, but the restaurant looks like it is hiding!

I love these kinds of postcards, which capture in so many subtle ways some of the emblems of the time.

Happy PFF! I love these kind of vintage American postcards of the 1950's. The sign, the cars, the 'modern' architecture. This post makes me hungry and dream of visiting this diner. But does it still exist?

I love the old cars! I'm thinking when this postcard was published, they were probably brand new!
